【基本介绍】
Fully funded PhD on the scaling of ecological trade-offs
The selected student is expected to be familiar with ecological principles related to species coexistence, ecological and evolutionary trade-offs and the ecological principles underlying biodiversity. The ability to handle large data sets and to program in R, Julia and/or Python is a must. Strong knowledge of multivariate statistics and other commonly used analytical approaches are important assets.

Interested candidate should send (1) an updated CV, (2) BSc and MSc transcripts, (3) a letter of interest and (2 to 3) names and emails of academic references. The letter of interest should state both how the proposed PhD topic fits within the research interest and career goals of the candidate, and how the research expertise of groups would help reach such goals. The application package and any inquiry regarding the position should be sent in a single PDF document to jp.lessard@concordia.ca and pedro.peres-neto@concordia.ca by January 1st, 2021. Applications of selected candidates are due to Concordia graduate admission office by February 1st, 2021. Starting date would be May or September 2021.
