    美国纽约大学Cai Lab诚招纳米光学、生物工程方向博士生、博士后

    单位概况

PhD and postdoc positions are open in the Cai Lab, part of the Tech4Health Institute at New York University Grossman School of Medicine (NYUGSOM, ranked # 2 in US medical schools by ‘U.S. News & World Report 2021)Postdocs will receive competitive stipendsbenefits (health insuranceuniversity housing, etc.), and PhD students will be fully funded. We are also open to PhD applicants in Biomedical Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering.

The Cai lab build new paradigms of nanotechnology that will advance basic biomedical discovery and clinical caresuch as nano-engineered cell interfaces for mechanobiology and optical metasurfaces for imaging/sensing. Our recent publications include: Nature Nanotechnology, 2018, 13, 610. Nature Materials, 2019, 18, 1366. npj Computational Materials, 2020, 6, 116. Advanced Materials, 2021, 33, 2005275.

The Tech4Health Institute serves as a hub for the development of new enabling technologies for biological and biomedical applicationsin collaboration with biologistsclinicians at NYUGSOM, and scientists from worldwide prestigious institutions. The institute is located in the NYU Langone Health superblock in midtown ManhattanImmersed in the unique vibrant and innovative environment of the New York City, and one of the foremost medical schools in the world, this is an ideal place to develop engineering technologies to improve human healtha mission never more relevant than today.
