Practical experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques and animal tumor models is required. Expertise in flow cytometry and bioinformatic analysis is desirable.NIH Grant Funded Position. Position will be responsible for the project involves studies using human samples and rodent models to understand the impacts of dietary-factor interactions with gut microbiota on immune regulation in colitis, colon cancer and liver disease. We are particularly interested in understanding the metabolic pathways such as glucose and sphingolipid metabolism in reprogramming the functions of immune cells. We employ interdisciplinary strategies by integrating immunological and genetic approaches with cutting-edge systems immunology tools, including single-cell transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.
