【职位介绍】

A postdoctoral position is open in the laboratory of Dr. Gyongyi Szabo at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) / Harvard Medical School to study the role of alcohol-induced neuroinflammation in the development and progression of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The postdoctoral fellow will evaluate the effects of excessive alcohol consumption on inflammasome-mediated neuroinflammation and features of AD in mice, using behavioral and biochemical approaches.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a strong background in neuroinflammation and/or neurobiology with a proven academic publication track record.

Required qualifications:

- PhD and/or MD degree in relevant disciplines within the last 2 years

- Excellent organization and communication skills

- Strong analytical skills

- Ability to work within a collaborative environment
