美国明尼苏达大学Dr. Xiaoran Sun诚招家庭心理学/青少年发展心理学方向全奖博

美国明尼苏达大学（University of Minnesota）教育与人类发展学院（College of Education and Human Development）家庭社会科学系（Department of Family Social Science）Dr. Xiaoran Sun招收2022年秋季家庭研究/青少年发展心理学全奖博士研究生（家庭社会科学博士学位研究生）。欢迎有心理学、社会学、教育学、数据科学等相关专业背景的同学申请。

Dr. Xiaoran Sun in the Department of Family Social Science, College of Education and Human Development, at the University of Minnesota is looking for highly motivated students to pursue doctoral degrees in Family Social Science with interests in family studies and adolescent/young adult development. Fully-funded positions (covering tuition and stipend) are available. Anticipated start date is Fall 2022.

Dr. Xiaoran Sun是明尼苏达大学（双城分校）教育与人类发展学院家庭社会科学系的助理教授(Assistant Professor,2021年12月入职)，现为斯坦福大学儿科学、传播学系博士后、斯坦福数据科学学者。她的研究兴趣包括家庭系统过程、青少年成就发展、科技与文化环境、数据科学在家庭和发展心理学研究中的应用等。她博士毕业于美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学人类发展与家庭研究系，辅修社会数据研究方法。欢迎访问Dr. Sun的个人主页获取更多信息：https://xiaoransun.github.io/

Dr. Xiaoran Sun is an incoming Assistant Professor (starting in December, 2021) in the Department of Family Social Science, College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities). She is currently a postdoctoral scholar in the Departments of Pediatrics and Communication at Stanford University, and a Stanford Data Science Scholar. Her research involves family systems processes, adolescent and young adult development towards achievement, technology and cultural contexts, and the application of data sciences in family and developmental research. She obtained her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from the Pennsylvania State University, with a graduate minor in Social Data Analytics. 申请要求：

-   心理学、社会学、教育学、或数据科学等相关领域本科或者研究生学位

-   托福成绩不低于80，绩点不低于3.3（4分制）

非常鼓励满足以下任一条件的同学申请：

-   具有家庭心理学、发展心理学、家庭社会学、或数据科学方向研究经验

-   具备或者有兴趣将数据科学和机器学习的知识应用到家庭/发展心理学研究

-   具有纵向数据、时间序列数据、或图像数据分析能力

-   有一定编程基础

Requirements:

-   A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Data Science, or related areas

-   A minimum TOEFL score of 80 and a minimum GPA of 3.3 (on a 4-point scale) are required

Preferred qualifications:

Candidates with ANY of the following qualifications would be particularly encouraged to apply.

-   Research experiences in family psychology, developmental psychology, family sociology, or data science

-   Knowledge or interest in the application of data science and machine learning in family and developmental research

-   Skills in longitudinal data analysis, time-series data analysis, or image data analysis

-   Skills in programming
