At Mirsaidov Lab, we are hiring exceptional and highly motivated postdoctoral scientists with the experience in electron microscopy, nanomaterials, and/or microfabrication. Our interdisciplinary research group explores nanoscale physical and chemical processes using in situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Our projects are housed in the Department of Physics and the Centre for Advanced 2D Materials at the National University of Singapore.
The successful applicant should have a Ph.D. in physics (preferred), materials sciences, chemistry, or related disciplines, with a proven ability for outstanding research that is reflected in his/her publication record. Considerable skills in microfabrication and/or electron microscopy is required. Experience in a subset of the following areas is desirable: materials synthesis, inorganic chemistry, facility for programming in MATLAB and Python.
