【职位介绍】

The laboratory of Dr. Bishuang Cai is seeking a highly motivated postdoc fellow aimed at elucidating the molecular pathogenesis of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).

Research projects may involve, but are not limited to:

1) study the role of specialized pro-resolving/pro-inflammatory mediators in NASH;

2) NASH-related cardiometabolic diseases; and

3) therapeutic targets discovery via high-throughput screening. 

The candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team of basic biologists, physician scientists, computational biologists, and clinicians in the Division of Liver Diseases at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt Sinai in New York.

Required qualifications:

1. Recent PhD degree in cell biology, immunology, pathology, or related field

2. Interest in macrophage and hepatocyte biology

3. Willingness to work with animal models

4. Strong communication skills and a track record of collaborative work in multidisciplinary research environment
