Prof. Zheng Zhang's group at UCSB has a postdoc position and 1 PhD position in the area of "Bayesian Sampling for Machine Learning and Uncertainty Quantification". The positions are available immediately.

【具体要求】

Requirements:

The postdoc applicants should have prior experience and independent research skills in one or the combination of the following areas: Bayesian sampling (e.g., MCMC, Hamiltonian Monte Carlo, Langevin Monte Carlo), Bayesian machine learning, stochastic differential equations. The accepted applicant is expected to conduct innovative scientific research, publish original research results in top-tier journals and conferences, participate in collaborations with our industrial and academic partners, and possibly help mentoring junior graduate students.
