The laboratory of Dr. Carrie Lucas in the Immunobiology Dept at Yale University is looking to recruit a motivated postdoc scientist to join our team.

The Lucas lab advances immunology through discovery and mechanistic investigation of severe, pediatric immunodeficiency or autoinflammatory disorders, often caused by single-gene defects. Starting with humans and extending to innovative mouse models, our work dives deeply into translationally relevant fundamental biology of T cells, B cells, and monocytes/macrophages. We use genetic, cellular, molecular, and in-vivo approaches to elucidate immune derangements and novel genes/pathways critical for healthy immune function. Current areas of emphasis include single-cell RNA sequencing and disease mechanisms in COVID-19-related ‘multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children’ (MIS-C), regulation of adaptive immunity, and inflammation at barrier tissues.  https://www.carrielucaslab.org
